Urgently required, Teaching Assistants to act as communicators during lessons for profoundly deaf children, and children with hearing impairments, at secondary schools, primary schools and specialist centres.

Applicants must have a qualification in British Sign Language (preferably Level 2 or 3), or Sign-Assisted English, although Makaton may also be considered. Experience of working with children is desirable, but not essential.
