Job: Senior Software Developer, Discovery Selection

This is an opportunity to work for a leading travel company based close to Chester. You will be responsible for the dynamic end-to-end web application that is key to this travel business's success.

You are required to have strong .Net (C#), MS SQL Server, XML, web services and threading skills to tune and redevelop a critical high volume web application (VB COM/classic asp/asp.net). Experience in database, middle tier code and IIS performance tuning in a clustered environment would be beneficial.

Moderate experience ASP.NET front end architecture and AJAX/DHTML is also desirable making you a good all round web application developer!

You will start off leading a small team, and have the opportunity to progress as key areas of projects integrate. Experience of the full SDLC, covering source control and configuration management also required.
