IT VB.Net Softwear Developer, £25-30K, Excellent Benefits, Ongoing Training

Your Profile

Having previously worked in an IT Development role using VB.Net up to and

including V2.0 and MS SQL 2000 you will be able to demonstrate a strong

understanding of debugging and testing processes. A knowledge of Mono with a

Suse or Debian based Linux distribution would also be desirable! You will have

the ability to plan and develop projects from proof of concept through to

release. With the ability to be creative and solution conscious you will be

pro-active and able to identify problems before they impact the business. With

excellent communication and organisational skills you will have a strong

attention to detail and ability to deliver good results working under

pressure!

The Role

Reporting directly to the IT Manager you will be working on various

internal/external systems, ranging from web applications to server automation.

As a VB.Net Developer, you will be responsible for the prototyping and

development of new systems as well as the maintenance and enhancement of

current systems. Planning and developing projects through to completion you

will communicate directly to Managers and Directors with information ranging

from timescales to specifications. Working within the fast paced IT team this
