Job: Commercial Sales/Marketing Manager, Jobwise Plc

The Role

You will be the Commercial Sales/Marketing manager for this city centre visitor attraction. You will be required to drive sales and maximise the exposure of the centre within a competitive market place. You will need to exploit your marketing experience in order to create awareness and to raise the profile of the centre; working closely with schools and educational groups you will create an educational program that fits the school curriculum and the needs and wants of teachers or group leaders. You will constantly monitor customer numbers and set monthly targets to increase footfall and will be monitoring incoming and projected revenue to ensure that marketing spend is as economical as possible. It will be essential to develop strong relationships with journalists and the media to ensure that the centre receives coverage both locally and nationally.

Experience/Skills

A proven history of improving sales and business development processes in your career to date is essential for this role. You must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, excellent organisational skills and you must be PC literate. You should have a sales and marketing qualification and have good financial business acumen.

An interest in wildlife and insects is desired but not essential.
