Position: I.T – Windows Developer

Salary: £18,000 To £25,000

CDL is a leading independent software house supplying systems to the insurance industry, currently looking for an experienced Windows Developer

They are currently looking for a proven Windows developer to develop, maintain and support Windows based programs in a multi tiered J2EE object orientated design environment, alongside legacy work. The role also involved ensuring that program functionality/application integration meets customer expectations and company quality standards.

In order to apply you must have a proven ability in a related programming environment, preferably within an insurance related role. The successful candidate will be educated to HNC/HND standard or equivalent in a relevant subject and will possess a proven and demonstrable ability in VB or C++ or C#.net or VB.net. Exposure and knowledge of object orientated programming and RDBMS development is desirable.

Applicants must be self motivated, organised and positive, team players with good communication skills as they will need to communicate effectively with internal, and possibly external customers. Initiative will be rewarded as there will be the opportunity to become involved in effecting improvements to systems.
