.NET Developer - Stockport £20-32K + Benefits. Our growing client, based near Manchester is currently looking for a skilled .NET Developer.

Core Skills Required

*.NET, Must have a significant degree (preferably at all levels within a development team) of experience in developing .Net applications.

*VB, Ability to write desktop applications and ActiveX components in VB 5/6.

*ASP/ASP.NET, Experience of application development in ASP & ASP.NET, running MS IIS5.0. and utilising components (COM Objects) developed in VB.

*SQL, Experience of working with SQL databases.

*XML, Knowledge of XML based technologies, XSL etc. Preferably knowledge of XML based web services in a .Net environment.

*Communication, Experience of Client-Server/Server-Server web based application/communication and/or Web Services.

*For the role you will be responsible for maintaining and developing functional and technical documentation, Management of projects, Assist in strategic development plan and ownership of personal projects.

Other Skills

*Multi-disciplined, and used to working in a small team.

*Ability to work unsupervised to agreed time scales and deliverables.

*Ability to work and communicate effectively within an established team.

*Ability to understand, evaluate and communicate issues across all areas of the business.

*Ability to capture and formally document user requirements and communicate effectively throughout the development cycle.

*Ability to converse with external company customers and suppliers.

*A positive outlook and willingness to assist others within an overall IT capacity.

*A good understanding of IT Security and Information Risk Management issues.
