Job: ASP.NET Software Developer - Stockport, Cheshire, Adria Solutions

An ASP.NET developer with particular interest in SQL Server is required to join a growing organistion based in Stockport, near Manchester.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good ASP.NET knowledge, ideally within a transactional web site situation. They will also have particular experience of SQL Server database design and development.

This organisation is looking for professionals with a true interest in development and the enthusiasm to learn and apply new technical skills.

Required Technology Knowledge:

*Minimum of 12 months ASP.NET and SQL Server development experience

*Use of VB.NET (or C#) against version 2 of the CLR

*Creation of Stored Procedures, Triggers, SSIS packages etc. for SQL Server 2005

*Able to produce HTML, JavaScript and CSS

*Object oriented programming principles

Required skills:

*Database design

*N-tier architectural development

*Multi-disciplined, and used to working in a small team

*Ability to work unsupervised to agreed time scales and deliverables

*Ability to work and communicate effectively within an established team

*Ability to capture and formally document user requirements and communicate effectively throughout the development cycle

*Flexibility around working hours

Beneficial skills:

*Experience of web services, windows application and windows service development

*Database encryption

*Database mirroring and failover clustering

*Reporting Services

*Microsoft certification

*Ability to understand, evaluate and communicate issues across all areas of the business

*A good understanding of IT Security and Information RiskManagement issues
