Job: Qualified Social Worker, Bold Recruitment

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to work within the mental health sector in a hospital setting. The purpose of the role is to ensure the provision of an effective social care service for the patients in the hospital, to work in partnership with health professionals and managers and with other agencies. The main tasks will be liaising between the patient's families and local health and social care agencies, to complete within 13 weeks of admission a comprehensive social care assessment report for each patient and to update this annually, to attend meetings discussing the patients' treatments including mental health review tribunals, hospital managers meetings and care programme approach reviews, to provide reports and to carry out any other reasonable tasks required within the role.
