To ensure that they stay ahead of their market they are now looking to recruit an experienced fabric buyer.

ROLE INFORMATION:

Working closely with senior management and R&D functions you will be responsible for defining and sourcing fabric types, sourcing suppliers throughout the UK, Europe and the Far East. Researching and visiting companies, UK and overseas, to assess quality, fit for purpose and commercial capabilities. Arranging fabric sampling for plant / manufacturing trials. Negotiating contracts with new suppliers and rationalising current supplier database.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

-Significant fabric / textile buying experience

-Experience of sourcing UK and overseas suppliers

-Experience of negotiating contracts / negotiating special discount allowances

IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Experience of visiting suppliers
