Our Working Partner is one of a Multi National Group of companies specialising in the manufacture of Precision Machinery for industries including Aerospace, Power Generation, Medical and Automotive.

Your responsibilities will include:

*Mechanical Fitting using traditional methods such as Engineering Blue to ensure surfaces are true.

*Manual adjustment via hand scraping techniques.

*Working with a team of experienced engineers you will be assisted initially in understanding the requirements and expectations of your role.

You must be:

*Qualified by apprenticeship in machine tool fitting or mechanical fitting, you should have practical experience in a machine tool build role including hand scraping, close fit assemblies and be able to read build charts.

*Experience in hydraulics or pneumatics would be an advantage as would working with bearing assemblies, gears and alignment of machines.

*This is a permanent role with a standard 3 month probationary period.

*Pay rate will rise from £9.78 per hour to £10.30 per hour once proficient in the role.

*Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07.45 am to 16.30 pm and Friday 07.45am to 11.45am (37 basic hours).

*Overtime is paid at 1.5 times over 37 hours a week Monday to Friday and Saturdays. Overtime on Saturdays is paid at double time if you work over 42 hours Monday to Friday
