Commercial Manager-North West-£45-55k

The position requires motivated individuals who are capable of working on their own initiative and within a team environment to ensure the best commercial outcome for all projects.

The role focuses on the commercial aspect of our projects, from tender to final account. Including: the timely and cost effective procurement of materials and sub-contractor services, project variation accounts being updated and managed to maximise the company's profitability, whilst ensuring the timing of the activities meet the requirements of the contract, the preparation and submission of Cost Value Reconciliations. Principal areas of responsibility will be: Estimating, Quantity Surveying, cost control / reporting, general administration, cash management.

Successful candidates will have a contracting background and probably have some experience within a sub-contractor environment. This role, which may on occasions be site based, reports directly to the Associate Director responsible for the region.
