Instrumentation Mechanic required to work in a World Class Manufacturing environment. Rate of pay £24 to £27k plus o/t.

They now have a fantastic and challenging opportunity for an experienced and qualified Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the team in cheshire.

REPORTS TO:

Engineering Manager

JOB PURPOSE:

To provide the facility with Maintenance support so that manufacturing can achieve required performance in all aspects of product and process quality. Using Preventive Maintenance Systems to carry out proactive maintenance and projects for improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Experience of PPM / TPM systems

* Machine repair

* Fault finding

* Mechanical fitting

* Welding

* Knowledge of Pneumatic systems

* Knowledge of Hydraulic systems

* Knowledge of Gearboxes

* Pulley alignment

* Pipe fitting

* Fabrication

* Lifting / handling knowledge

* Knowledge of production plant: furnaces, conveyors, pumps, etc.

* Some installation / commissioning required

* Basic Electrical back-up is essential

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION:

* Apprentice Trained

* Time Served

* Grinding Wheel

* Abrasives

* Experience of working within a Heavy Manufacturing / Engineering environment
