Job Summary

Responsibility for management of Master Production Schedule within MRP and to drive improvement in plan adherence.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation of MPS module in Avante MRP system to constrain demand.

Aligning MRP capability with capacity using demand constraint techniques initially, with a view to implementing MPS ultimately.

Ownership and responsibility for the capacity model, liaising with cell managers to provide good capacity management decision making.

Measurement and adherence to the plan.

Inventory planning.

Experience & Qualification required

MS Access (essential)

MS Excel (essential)

ERP/MRP system essential (doesn't need to be Avante, Mfg Pro would be desirable)

MPS Implementation within a manufacturing environment

Management of Master Production Schedule

Qualification required:

Educated to A level std or equivalent

Engineering degree desirable

IOM Qualification preferred

5 years experience within a manufacturing environment
