Installation Technician required to work with a large multinational company based in Liverpool.

Installation Technician required to work with a large multinational company based in Liverpool. The candidate would be based in the Liverpool area, but would travel to the middle/top part of the UK for business.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE:

.Undertake installation activities as required by the demands of the business to ensure customer needs are satisfied in terms of quality and deadlines and ASL needs are fully met in terms of cost.

.Undertake service activities as required by the demands of the business to provide flexibility across functions.

.Supervision of employed installation labour, to include on site safety talks and on site risk assessments and evaluation of method statements.

.Review of installation progress against set targets and regular progress reports and information to the Installation Manager, Installation Supervisor or Project Manager as appropriate.

.Organise and checking site file information, tools, personal protective equipment, safety equipment and fixings as necessary to ensure smooth installation processes.

.Adherence to Health and Safety/ISO practices as determined by the needs of the business, legislation and as required on client sites.

.Analyse service and installation procedures to implement continuous improvement of working practices.

.Coach employees new to the task/process to ensue swift understanding and attainment of necessary skills.

The right candidate would hold:

.Mechanical engineering skills

.Ability to read engineering technical drawings

.Qualification in electrical installation advantageous

.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

.Clean driving license

.Forklift truck license beneficial

.CSCS card beneficial

.Willing to travel and work away for long periods and weekends

.IT literacy

.Good administration skills
