Our client seeks an Exhibitions and Demonstrations Engineer to provide demonstrations and Presentations at theoretical and practical level to customers across the companies business segments..
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
* To work as part of a dedicated team or individually at exhibitions & demonstrations, specifically with equipment integration, test and general stand build both in the UK and abroad as required.
* To maintain, as a team, close communications with marketing & sales departments both in the UK and Overseas, to ascertain their requirements and implement them in all aspects of operations, and to provide technical pre qualification of the demonstration systems to the potential client.
* Maintain all equipment to latest firmware, hardware and software levels in conjunction with customer support.
* Provide technical and practical assistance to the department, whilst colleagues are overseas which may require unsociable working hours.
* Provide equipment loans both for internal and overseas offices which will require testing before dispatch.
* Undertake and deliver further technical training in respect of the companies products within an operations, systems bias, both on site, overseas and inclusive of classroom structured training.
* Be prepared to specialise in a specific product area and keep up to date with the latest products to be released from engineering and third party manufacturers. This will also involve giving training sessions to the Training & Demonstrations group, and other groups, to pass on the relevant knowledge to their colleagues.
* Deliver both technical and theoretical presentations to engineers and all levels of management in both this Company and client companies.
* Maintain relevant records and databases as appropriate for the department and company.
