Job: Production Electrician, Liverpool Recruitment Company

Production Electrician required for a worldwide leading supplier of equipment and services to packaging manufacturers in the folding carton, corrugated board and flexible material industries. Key functions will include:

Essential Skills

• Read/understand electrical schematics

• Machine cabling support systems

• Travel/working away is an integral part of the role, the ideal candidate would have no restrictions that would interfere with world wide travel and periods of 1-4 weeks working away from home

Desirable Skills

• ONC level qualified engineer in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• Vacuum system experience

• Web handling experience

• Pneumatic, hydraulic, machine controls, & other mechanical systems

• Able to work un-supervised

• Explain/report progress status & procedures to customers

The salary for this position starts at £8.79 - £9.19 in accordance with the Skills Matrix currently in operation. To be reviewed in January 2007. 33 days holiday (inc statutory), sickness payment, life assurance and pension scheme after qualifying periods.

39 hours per week. Core hours 07:30 – 16:00, 15:00 on Friday. Half an hour for lunch.
