Job: Electrical Project Engineer, Liverpool Recruitment Company

Electrical/Software Project Engineer required for a worldwide leading supplier of equipment and services to packaging manufacturers in the folding carton, corrugated board and flexible material industries

Development of new software platforms/techniques

Advancement/refinement of existing software platforms/techniques/control systems

Project Management of all aspects of machine electrical design

Liaison with customers (internal & external) and suppliers

Start up ongoing support for complex control systems

Essential skills

• Programming PLC systems and AC and DC drive systems

• Computer literate in Microsoft applications

• SCADA

• Fieldbus applications

• AutoCAD

• Graduate Electronic / Electrical Engineer

• Relevant British & European Regulations

• Good communication skills at all levels, verbal and written.

• Willing to work as full, supportive team member.

• Ability to contribute ideas/innovation to continued improvement of machine design.

• Ability to assess, decision make & address situations.

• Must be self-motivated with a desire to achieve high standards.

• Availability and unhindered capability for worldwide travel.

• Experience of pneumatic, hydraulic, machine controls, & other mechanical systems

Excellent package up to £28k pa, plus service payments for working away from home. 33 days holiday (inc statutory), sickness payment, life assurance and pension scheme after qualifying periods
