Job: Software Architect, Liverpool Recruitment Company

The Liverpool Recruitment Company are looking for a senior software engineer to join the team working for an innovative mobile technology company. We’re looking for someone to lead by example in areas of software design, software engineering practices and software process.

Requirements:

-Strong software engineering skills, both for rapid prototyping, and the design & development of robust production code.

-Experience designing the architecture for a large system handling live users.

-Experience designing and developing resilient and scalable distributed systems.

-Expert level C and Perl programmer

-Web services programming, particularly using SOAP.

-Modern web standards & technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP etc)

-Database design and programming, particularly for PostgreSQL and MySQL.

-Comfortable with systems programming under Linux or another Unix variant (mix of Windows, Linux, and Mac boxes)

-Have demonstrated technical leadership in a development team.

-Experienced with agile methods, in particular automated testing and refactoring.

-Experience with Asterisk (open source PBX, )

-Experience with telephony development: SS7, Q.931, SIP, etc.
