This well established company require a SSAS / SIPP Administrator, with a broad understanding of pensions concepts, to join their Manchester office.
Job Profile
Our client, one of the UK’s leading SIPP & SSAS administrators, is keen to recruit an experienced pensions administrator to complement their expanding administration team in Manchester. The company specialises in the provision of trustee, administration and actuarial services for Self Invested Personal Pensions, (SIPPs) and Small Self Administered Schemes, (SSASs) and has almost £5bn worth of assets under management. They offer a high quality bespoke service in a rapidly growing market. The successful applicant will play a vital role in ensuring that each scheme is operated and administered to comply with Inland Revenue regulations, company standards and to the satisfaction of clients. Joining an existing experienced team, the role involves taking responsibility for all aspects of scheme administration covering a specifically named portfolio of typically between 50 and 100 schemes. Within this varied role the Administrator will have contact with clients and colleagues and external connections by phone, letter and face to face.
Applicant Requirements
Successful candidates will possess pensions industry experience with the FPC qualification or equivalent, be familiar with Inland Revenue regulations governing pensions legislation, in particular, SIPPs and SSASs, and be able to work to tight deadlines and manage their own workload effectively. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a prerequisite. Additional skills sought include PC literacy (including Excel and Word), numeracy and accuracy.

Currently employs approximately 250 staff including qualified actuaries, personally recognised pensioneer trustees and professionally qualified pension administrators. The value of assets under trusteeship are approximately £5 billion.
