Synopsis

Major insurance company looking for an experienced Commercial Motor Underwriter for their Manchester office.

Job Profile

Commercial Motor/Fleet Underwriter required by major insurance company to underwrite commercial motor risks from a designated panel of intermediaries within agreed authority levels, to achieve profitable growth in line with company and branch objectives. Maintaining and developing business relationships with intermediaries and responding to customer requests for information. The role will also involve providing a reference point and training for technical underwriting and product knowledge within the branch.

Applicant Requirements

Candidates must possess strong interpersonal/communication/sales/negotiation skills, sound technical product knowledge and computer keyboard skills. Progress towards ACII/qualified ACII and A level or equivalent education qualification is required.
