Expanding independent broker is seeking to recruit a Commercial Account Handler for their Manchester office.

Job Profile

Commercial Account Handler sought to maintain client insurance portfolios, providing a high quality, professional and efficient service and supporting the Account Executives as necessary. Duties will include maintaining client and insurer relationships and handling and resolving internal and external queries in a professional and courteous manner. The role will also involve undertaking general office/administration duties and providing support to other team members. In addition to maintaining awareness of market conditions and products and complying with all company rules.

Applicant Requirements

Some insurance experience, progression towards a professional qualification and professional attitude and appearance is essential for this role. Candidates must have good negotiation, organisational and communication skills, plus a flexible attitude, the ability to work on own initiative and computer literacy. Also essential is the willingness to improve, team focus and the ability to prioritise workloads.
