Major insurer requires an experienced Motor Fleet Underwriter with strong underwriting skills for their Manchester office.

Job Profile

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the major insurance company for a Development Motor Fleet Underwriter. As one of the key underwriters on the motor fleet account, you will be handling a mixture of new and existing business for a variety of brokers throughout the North West. The main duties will include account and broker development, working closely and assisting with technical referrals for the rest of the team.

Applicant Requirements

Candidates will have motor fleet experience coupled with strong underwriting skills and a good market awareness. You will be self-motivated and able to work under pressure during peak periods. Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and strong negotiation and organisational skills are essential. Preferably candidates will be ACII qualified or working towards this.
