Well-established major independent corporate broker seeks an experienced Commercial Account Handler to work from their expanding Cheshire office.

Job Profile

A Commercial Account Handler is required to handle the internal servicing of clients' accounts, providing an internal back up to Account Executives. You will also take instructions to deal with necessary adjustments to policies and negotiate with insurers on renewal terms. Additionally you will prepare reports for presentation to clients, comment on policy wordings and suggest improvements to covers, checking all documentation before issue to clients. The job will also involve some minor involvement in new business enquiries.

Applicant Requirements

It is essential when applying for this position that you possess commercial experience to handle a bank of small to medium clients (premium range £500-£10k) for all day to day activities, claims handling, renewal broking. Also to provide support to the 2 directors on their larger clients. Ideally familiar with Misys (Open GI) computer system and able to use word and excel.
