Job: Technical Claims Consultant, Independent Appointments

Synopsis

A large provincial broker is looking to recruit a Technical Claims Consultant to work within their Manchester City centre office.

Job Profile

The position has arisen for a Technical Claims Consultant to work within an expanding claims team. You will assist in the presentation, negotiation and settlement of commercial claims. Taking details of the claim from the client, you will arrange for the appropriate claim form to be issued and assist in the completion of the form where necessary. You will liaise closely with the account executives and/or loss adjusters in order to progress the claim, which may involve client visits or insurers visits where required. The role will involve providing claims history and statistics for renewal negotiations and discussion with client.

Applicant Requirements

It is essential when applying for this position that you have suitable commercial claims experience ideally incorporating property, liability and motor losses. You will be either company or broker trained and ideally have had direct contact with insured’s. You must be confident, outgoing with a professional approach to work. ACII progress preferred.
