Leading insurance and reinsurance brokerage looking for a Insurance Account Handler to join an established team in Manchester providing a high quality, innovative client service.

Job Profile

An opening has arisen for an Insurance Account Handler to work with Client Managers to ensure the highest level of service and technical advice and compliance with regulatory and other standards as directed by line management including the creation of accurate and timely policy documents, premium invoicing and debiting. Duties include negotiating renewal terms, mid-term adjustments and cover extensions, identifying revenue development opportunities. Role will also involve identifying improvements in client risk and insurance programme design and making recommendations.

Applicant Requirements

Ideal candidates should have experience within a similar role in a commercial insurance setting, however, candidates with strong interpersonal skills and/or a general insurance background will also be considered. Looking for a team player who strives for continued personal development and has the ability to develop effective working relationships with other company specialist area. Full training will be provided for this role and for the right candidate the opportunity to undertake study of CII exams will be encouraged.
