Job Profile

This leading insurer is seeking an Account Manager to join their Manchester office to develop and maintain a panel of National Brokers. Key accountabilities will include new business/retention of business targets, profitability, sales campaign targets, credit control and effective development of the National Broker panel. The role will involve acting as a reference point for National Brokers, preparing the annual business plan and agreeing this with National Brokers and conducting site visits.

Applicant Requirements

Prospective candidates will have a broad experience of General Insurance coupled with a proven track record of profitable business development, preferably including National Brokers. The requires good numeracy and negotiating/sales skills, team spirit, effective time management and product knowledge. Progress towards ACII would be advantageous.
