Job Profile

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join one of the UK’s most successful law firms. Corporate is located within the wider Corporate Division which is made up of the following business units: Corporate, Tax, Financial Regulation and Corporate Services. You will be dealing with M&A – share and asset disposals and acquisitions, including City Code takeovers as well as private M&A; IPO’s and secondary issues; Private equity transactions; Joint ventures. You will also be asked to provide regular updates and display a knowledge of corporte law by providing clear, precise and practical advice.

Applicant Requirements

We envisage that the successful candidate will possess at least 2 year’s post qualified experience (PQE); however we will accept applications from candidates of all levels of experience, who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills for the role. Must have experience of corporate law gained within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level, a clear understanding of the operation and structure of a Top 15 law firm, and have the ability to achieve continuous improvement and development. It would be an advantage to have a strong commercial awareness. This offers excellent prospects for progression within the firm as a whole.
