Experienced Law Costs Negotiator sought to join an expanding Costs Department within a highly regarded Manchester law firm.

Job Profile

A very well established and highly regarded Manchester law firm looking to recruit an experienced Law Costs Negotiator to join their expanding Costs department. The role will involve negotiating settlement of solicitors' costs, preparing points of dispute and attending detailed assessment hearings. Managing a caseload of technical claims in a professional and competent manner, duties will also include liaising with solicitors and dealing with client enquiries.

Applicant Requirements

Candidates will possess at least 2 years experience in costs negotiation (however we will accept applications from candidates of all levels of experience, who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills for the role), together with a strong understanding of CPR and an in depth knowledge of CFA’s.
