A Senior Development Underwriter is required to work with brokers in the North West market developing new business from SME through to corporate business.

Job Profile

A Senior Development Underwriter is required to work with brokers in the North West market developing new business from SME through to corporate business. Working with a team of existing underwriters the role will involve visiting brokers and strengthening existing relationships and forging new ones. The role will include full underwriting authority on site at the brokers and working from office base in Manchester.

Applicant Requirements

Experience within a commercial underwriting environment is essential and development experience will be a distinct advantage but overall the qualities and ability to move into a development role is of primary relevance. A good knowledge of the North West broker market is essential and existing relationships with these brokers will add a great deal of weight to any application. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding underwriting unit in Manchester with ample opportunity for personal and career development.
