Leading North West private client firm actively seeking an experienced Cost Drafting Specialist/Law Costs Draftsperson for their Manchester city centre office.

Job Profile

Very well established city centre based law firm are seeking to recruit a Cost Drafting Specialist/Law Costs Draftsperson to work within their Claimant Personal Injury Department. The role will involve dealing with the preparation of bills through to settlement, handling own caseload. Duties would also include the negotiation of costs and settlements, drafting schedules and civil costs bills for personal injury cases.

Applicant Requirements

Candidates should have experience of dealing with multi-track cases; have a very strong technical knowledge of current cost issues and a strong understanding of CPR. Candidates must also be hard working and conscientious, with a keen eye for detail and have good negotiation skills.
