Manchester City Centre Legal Costs firm, requires an experienced Senior Costs Consultant to compliment an expanding team.

Job Profile

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Costs Consultant to join a busy and well-established cost drafting company based in Manchester city centre. The role will involve dealing with the preparation of bills through to settlement, handling a caseload and reporting in directly to the Costs Manager. Duties will also include the negotiation of costs and settlements and drafting schedules and civil cost bills for Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence and Commercial matters.

Applicant Requirements

Applicants are invited from experienced Senior Costs Consultants who have a wealth of quality experience dealing with multi-track cases; have technical knowledge of current cost issues and a strong understanding of CPR and recent case law. Candidates will be hardworking and conscientious, with a keen eye for attention to detail and good negotiating skills. You will have a tenacious attitude towards recovery of costs and have the ability to work alone and as part of a team.
