Dynamic claims management company based in Manchester looking for a Software Developer to assist the IT with software development/support.

Job Profile

Software Developer sought to assist the IT Manager in the continued development and support of the IT/Communications infrastructure and to assist in the development, testing and documentation of all software developed by the department. Duties will include assisting in the design and development of all applications produced by the department, supporting all developed applications and creating/updating all software documentation. In addition to providing basic support IT/Communications Hardware, liaising with contracted support companies, demonstrating web application(s) to staff as required and testing all internally developed applications.

Applicant Requirements

Candidates must have the ability to develop windows and web based Visual Studio .NET applications unassisted to a high standard from a provided system specification and have a good knowledge of SQL Server 200-2005, Visual Studio.NET 2003-2008. Knowledge of structures testing techniques and system documentation and good knowledge of Windows Service 2003, MS Office, Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista, Exchange Server, Visual Basic 6, Ajax and Java Script is desirable. Also looking for a professional appearance, good verbal and written communication skills and educated to a minimum of A level in IT related course.
