Established broker based in Lancaster, actively seeking an experienced Commercial Motor Fleet Underwriter to generate revenue and develop profitability.

Job Profile

Commercial Motor Fleet Underwriter required for an established community broker, dealing mainly with clients and working across a broad commercial client base, primarily focusing on new business development. The role will involve handling commercial accounts, managing your own clients, and working in a results orientated environment. Ensuring all key performance indicators are achieved and are attained compliantly with FSA regulation.

Applicant Requirements

Knowledge of handling commercial accounts, developing and maintaining a professional client relationship and ensuring expert advice in all areas of business is required. Candidates must possess interpersonal/communication/sales/negotiation skills, technical product knowledge and ideally have insurance qualifications or be working towards them.
