Job: Pensions Administrator, Independent Appointments

Synopsis

A new vacancy for a Pensions Administrator to join a large pensions organisation in Bolton. You must have relevant experience.

Job Profile

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for someone with a sound analytical mind to move into a role offering excellent training and development in technical pensions administration. You will initially be involved mainly with data entry and updating databases with information, however you will also answer phone calls with queries from clients and IFA's with regards to pensions. You will quickly be progressed into dealing with the complex issues involved in the administration of SSAS/SIPP pensions. This will involve creating benefit calculations, loan interest calculations and borrowing repayments along with liaising with solicitors and accountants and IFA's.

Applicant Requirements

You should have experience of working in a professional practice and ideally have experience of talking to professionals over the phone when speaking to clients and IFA's. It is essential that you have some experience of working in financial services and a desire to excel in pensions administration.
