Job: Paraplanner, Independent Appointments

Synopsis

A new vacancy for a Paraplanner to join an IFA Practice in Blackburn. You must have relevant experience and hold the full FPC or equivalent.

Job Profile

My client a long established and successful IFA practice now requires an experienced Paraplanner to come on board and assist with the day to day running of the office. You will provide one to one support to the Director on the full range of financial products. The business is predominantly Investment biased however you will also deal with Mortgages, Protection and Pensions. You will be required to conduct product research using a variety of different computer programmes and then make relevant product recommendations and write detailed and compliant reports for the clients. You will be expected to have an interest in both furthering your knowledge and qualifications within financial services. Ideally you will also have a very good grasp of compliance. This role can either be viewed as an opportunity to move in to advice and extend the business or it can be seen as a great way of broadening your experience within financial services and working within a friendly environment.

Applicant Requirements

Applicants applying for this vacancy should be performing a Paraplanning role now and you will ideally have a broad knowledge of financial services products (however people with a bias to certain products will be considered especially if they have the desire to learn). It is essential that you hold the full FPC (or equivalent) and, if not already, then you must have the desire to study for further qualifications. Experience of working on a one to one basis with an adviser would be advantageous.
